Our Pre-Employment medical examination provides a baseline health assessment for a worker before they enter a role with an employer.
The examination assists with risk management and identifies whether a worker is medically suitable in the role in which they are applying.

Electrocardiogram (ECG)
An electrocardiogram records the electrical activity of the heart.
Your doctor may use an electrocardiogram to detect: Irregularities in your heart rhythm (arrhythmias) If blocked or narrowed arteries in your heart (coronary artery disease) are causing chest pain or a heart attack. Structural problems with your heart’s chambers.
Lung function test (Spirometry)
A Spirometry Assessment measures the degree of airflow obstruction. This Assessment is often used to assess for asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and a number of other lung diseases.
Hearing test (Audiometry): (by Hearing Australia)
It is a statutory requirement under AS/NZS 1269.4:2005 for workers who use personal hearing protectors to undergo an Audiometry Assessment before they commence their role, and to continue to do so every two years. Our assessments will provide a baseline hearing test to limit liability for future hearing loss claims, as well as monitor the impact of long-term noise exposure.
Urine Drugs and alcohol screen
Screening for the presence of Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) is becoming increasingly important in the workplace as the impact of improper alcohol and other recreational drug use can present a serious risk to health, safety and workplace productivity.
